We are seeking a results-driven Senior Engineer to join a high-performing construction team on a major residential development in Cork. This is a 2-year fixed term contract offering exceptional exposure to modern construction methods, stakeholder management, and technical leadership within a well-structured environment.

Key Responsibilities:
Own and manage Health & Safety standards across the site
Review design documents, lead technical submittals, and raise RFIs as needed
Actively participate in Design Team Meetings and technical coordination
Ensure timely progress aligned with programme targets and flag any delays
Oversee subcontractors, commissioning schedules, and quality control measures
Champion site-wide quality assurance systems and BCAR compliance
Liaise with third-party stakeholders (e.g. ESB, Irish Water, local authorities)
Manage Temporary Works processes and inspection readiness
Lead junior engineers and promote development, coaching, and mentoring
Coordinate and chair site meetings, ensuring clear communication across all levels
Ensure compliance with Building Regulations and company specifications
Identify value engineering opportunities to reduce cost and optimise performance
Ideal Candidate Will Have:
5+ years\β experience in a site engineering role
HETAC Level 8 qualification in Civil Engineering or equivalent
Strong technical knowledge of residential and commercial construction
Experience managing subcontractors and coordinating with design teams
Excellent communication and leadership skills
A proactive, organised, and safety-conscious approach
Strong documentation, reporting, and IT skills (e.g. Zutec, MS Office)
