What will your typical day look like? Different that’s for sure…
At Atom bank, we're not just building a bank; we're building the future of finance. Our Treasury team sits at the heart of this, managing complex cash flows, navigating market risks, and driving decisions that shape our trajectory.
As a Treasury Back Office Analyst, you'll be a vital person ensuring the smooth and efficient execution of all our Treasury operations. Think of yourself as the engine that keeps the whole shop running – meticulously managing the day-to-day activities that underpin our financial stability and growth.
What you'll be doing:
- Orchestrating the full lifecycle of trade confirmations and settlements across diverse asset classes (securities, derivatives, money markets).
- Taking ownership of the end-to-end daily cash management process, ensuring seamless flow and accuracy.
- Guaranteeing timely and accurate execution of all Treasury payments within approved mandates.
- Providing crucial operational and payment support for our innovative Platform Lending propositions.
- Producing key daily reports, including collateral margin calls, to inform critical decision-making.
- Becoming a key user of our Treasury Management System (TMS), extracting vital information and assisting with the setup of new instruments.
- Collaborating closely with the wider Treasury and Finance teams on reporting, MI, journals, and reconciliations.
- Building strong relationships with internal teams (like Payments and Risk) and external counterparties to ensure smooth transaction processing.
What do we need from you?
- Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build strong working relationships across teams and with external partners.
- A proactive attitude and a willingness to learn and contribute to a dynamic, agile team.
- A solid understanding of banking fundamentals (accounting, products, payments), would be advantageous but not essential.
What you’ll get from us?
- Flexible remote first or hybrid working.
- 4-day work week
- Annual Share Option – performance-related
- Incredibly generous company pension scheme (maximum of 13% of Atom input – you can put in more)
- 'All About Me’ fund: £200 per year to spend on personal development.
- 22.5 days annual leave plus public holidays
- Private Medical Insurance, Health Cash Plan & Life Insurance
- Electric Vehicle Scheme
