An international investment business is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented legal professional to support its Legal Department in London. This 12-month contract offers a rare opportunity to work at the intersection of legal process, high-value transactions, and portfolio management across a globally recognised investment platform.
This role would suit a junior lawyer or experienced paralegal with a solid background in reviewing and negotiating NDAs and early-stage transactional documents. You’ll gain exposure to complex, fast-moving deals and support legal and compliance frameworks around price-sensitive information (MNPI).
What you’ll be doing:
- Reviewing and negotiating NDAs, consultancy agreements, engagement letters, and hold harmless letters
- Supporting regulatory compliance and procedures related to MNPI
- Liaising with legal, compliance, external counsel, and portfolio managers
- Managing templates, trackers, logs, and executed documentation
- Helping drive legal processes efficiently in a high-performing, fast-paced environment
What we’re looking for:
- Law degree (LLB, GDL or equivalent)
- Previous experience in a law firm or in-house legal team (ideally in financial services)
- Strong understanding of NDA negotiation and legal operations
- Highly organised, confident working independently, and comfortable communicating across teams
- Interest in financial services and desire to grow in a transactional legal environment
