Venari Legal are delighted to be working again with one of our long standing clients and are looking to recruit an experienced Real Estate solicitor to their team. You will be based from their office in the city centre of Glasgow. It is a great opportunity to join one of Glasgow's leading law firms where you will get responsibility early on and the support to make great things happen. They offer excellent agile working, a competitive salary and clear career progression.

This is a chance to support and assist Partners within the Commercial Property division to provide an excellent legal service to clients.

Key Tasks
  • Manage your workload competently, professionally, and cost effectively to achieve client satisfaction and firm objectives.
  • Be pro-active in the financial control of all your own matters as the fee-earner, including accurate time recording and prompt feeing.
  • Examine title and report to clients.
  • Negotiate with other solicitors and revise leases for either tenants or landlords.
  • Research and prepare opinions on commercial property issues.
  • Assist with development of commercial property styles and templates.
  • Contribute constructively to the work of other members of the Commercial Property division.
  • Support your team/division marketing initiatives, events and seminar programme.
Qualifications and Experience

The ideal candidate will have had at least one seat within a Commercial Property team during their traineeship. Other essential skills/attributes are:

  • A genuine interest in Commercial Property and a desire to specialise in this area of legal practice.
  • An ability and willingness to take responsibility.
  • Good commercial awareness.
  • Ability to plan and organise efficiently.
  • Client focused.
