The Role

This is a hands-on leadership role — the perfect blend of strategy, delivery, and commercial thinking.

You’ll:

• Own the research agenda: guiding strategy, setting direction, and keeping the engine running smoothly.
• Run projects from end to end – e.g. market trackers, bespoke attitudinal studies, across the likes of medical devices and more
• Get stuck into survey design, data analysis, visualisation, and storytelling — not just overseeing, but doing.
• Lead and mentor a small, agile team, helping them deliver at pace.
• Be the face to clients: translating business objectives into actionable insights and long-term partnerships.
• Spot new opportunities: shaping proposals, building offerings, and driving business growth.

Your Skills & Experience

We’re looking for someone who brings both analytical depth and strategic presence. You’ll ideally have:

• 5+ years in market insights, strategy, or competitive intelligence in healthcare/MedTech/life sciences a big plus
• 2+ years leading teams and managing client relationships.
• Strong across both quantitative and qualitative methods.
• Hands-on with survey platforms like Qualtrics and comfortable with Excel, PowerPoint (SPSS/Power BI a bonus).
• Strong storyteller — you can take data, find the narrative, and influence at senior level.
• Commercially minded, entrepreneurial, and ready to build something.
