Randstad is proud to be working with some excellent schools across Hertfordshire and as market leaders in education recruitment, we are actively looking for 3 enthusiastic SEN teacher's Assistants to join a welcoming and supportive team at a SEN School based in Bedford.

This is an exciting opportunity for passionate and hardworking Care and Support workers who are looking for some flexible shift timings and little extra time in their social lives.

For a recent graduate looking to obtain experience as a Teaching Assistant before beginning teacher training, this is an excellent opportunity.

We are excited to know more about you as this role is available to start soon on a fixed term contract and you will have all the needed support to get through at Randstad.

Your main role will be to support the teacher, the whole class, small groups and 1:1 for learning support and progress of every child under your care. A strong knowledge about the UK curriculum will be an added advantage.

This is a full time position – Monday to Friday, 8:30 – 3:30

Your main responsibilities will be:

* Managing behaviour and supporting the class teacher

* Working with small groups and 1:1

* Have a flexible approach and ability to adapt resources on the spot

Your Requirements to get this role:

* An Enhanced child DBS on the update service

* Eligibility to work in the UK (sponsorship is not available with this role)

* Able to make an impression on both us and our client

* Previous experience working with children is required

* Flexibly adhere to the needs of the pupils in a professional and friendly manner

* Good classroom management skills
