Remuneration: £45,000 - £55,000 + uncapped commission (1.5% of all sales) + discretionary annual bonus between £6,000 - £10,000.

The role will involve:

  • Field sales position selling a high quality manufactured range of ventilation products and systems.
  • Focusing on social housing, local authorities and new build projects such as office blocks, apartment blocks, hotels, student accommodation etc., as well as getting involved with associated commercial projects.
  • Majority of time focusing on generating specifications via building services consultants, M&E consultants, specifiers and housing developers.
  • Remaining portion of time spent selling into M&E contractors, main contractors, sub-contractors, developers and builders.
  • Focus on generating new business relationships and maximising neglected existing accounts.
  • Dealing with typical projects of around £50k - £500k depending on the size of the project.

The ideal applicant will have:

  • Ideally a technical manager or related technical background looking to step into field.
  • Strong technical knowledge and capabilities.
  • Sales experience.
  • HVAC product related experience, for example: ventilation products, ventilation systems, ducting units, air handling units, air conditioning, extract fans, heat recovery units, boilers, radiators, fans, extractor fans, attenuation units.
  • Contacts with M&E consultants, social housing specifiers, main contractors and sub-contractors.
  • A team player who is highly organised.
