The Company Our client, a leading independent distributor of Chemicals is seeking a Sales Administrator to join their small but busy and supportive team. Key Responsibilities: β’ Ensuring that sales orders are processed swiftly, efficiently and accurately β’ Handling sales enquires as well as maximising further sales opportunities β’ Learning technical and sales information on key products β’ Making necessary calculations to ascertain exact order requirements β’ Checking available stock and ordering as necessary from suppliers β’ Booking/planning deliveries β’ Managing and using information held on CRM package The Ideal Candidate will be a proactive and organised individual with the ability to multitask, excellent attention to detail and a passion for providing excellent service in a fast-paced environment. Essential Requirements: β’ Educated to GCSE minimum including English and Maths β’ IT competent -including Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel β’ Familiarity with computerised sales order and stock control software, such as QuickBooks or Sage β’ Familiarity with CRM software β’ An understanding of the importance delivering exceptional customer service β’ A helpful and friendly attitude and flexibility in your approach. β’ Effective time management skills and the ability to work well under pressure Additional skills: Experience in Sales Order Processing, Administrative tasks, or Customer Service Own means of transport is essential
