G2 are recruiting on behalf of a local authority based in the South West for a Licensing Officer for 3 to 6 months due to changes internally within their team.
The main duties would be:
- Investigating complaints
- Issuing penalty points (Taxis)
- Dealing with Licensing Act applications
- Leading/supporting with hearings
There would also be a requirement for the individual to support/guide the Council's Licensing Assistants and answer day-to-day queries about general licensing.
The rate for the role is negotiable based on the right candidate and interviews will be held within the next 1-2 weeks.
