Purpose of the Role: In the Merchandising Admin Assistant – Non Retail role, your main job is to oversee the delivery process and ensure that products and components necessary for Hire & Custom Made are available in store and at relevant supplies as planned. You will collaborate with the Buying team, Suppliers, Distribution Centre and Atelier teams. Your tasks will include monitoring stock through the manufacturing process, providing administrative support to the Merchandising Manager – Non-Retail, managing delivery schedules, performing specialised analyses for inventory management, and assisting in creating size assessments for purchase orders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Buying team, Suppliers and Atelier to monitor stock through the manufacturing process, ensuring smooth progression and quality control.
  • Provide consistent administrative support to the Merchandising team, aiding in their daily tasks and operational needs.
  • Work with the DC team to manage delivery schedules and oversee the critical path, ensuring products arrive on time.
  • Perform regular specialized analyses to support inventory management and buying decisions, adapting strategies based on insights.
  • Assist in creating size assessments and determining size scales for purchase orders, guided by the Merchandiser's expertise.
  • Support the Merchandising Manager - Non-Retail in managing and maintaining store stock-holding, optimising stock usage throughout the season & ensuring appropriate sample management.
  • Help manage products and packages online, ensuring smooth launches for new ranges and maintain existing products and packages.
  • Assist in maintaining strong stock availability across Hire & Custom Made, including monitoring warehousing stock write offs, damages and repairs activity.

  • Technical: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with complex data analysis, utilising advanced analytical skills to interpret and leverage data insights.
  • Experience in multitasking and adaptability within fast-paced environments.
  • Knowledge in commercial awareness and industry trends, informing strategic decisions.
