Senior Layout Designer

Job Description Our client is a well-established and reputable Residential Developer, operating throughout the Northwest area, delivering quality modern houses and communities. We are looking to onboard a Senior Layout Designer with hands on capabilities as well as the ability to manage and mentor a small team. Key Responsibilities: Lead the design and development of residential site layouts from concept through to planning submission. Collaborate with land, planning, architectural, and engineering teams to ensure layouts are practical, commercially viable, and aligned with regulatory and design standards. Produce high-quality masterplans, detailed layouts, and design statements for planning applications. Apply creative and analytical thinking to balance aesthetics, density, engineering constraints, and community living. Oversee and support the work of junior layout designers, providing mentorship, quality control, and technical guidance. Liaise with external consultants and local authorities throughout the planning process. Continuously contribute to the improvement of design standards, design guides, and internal workflows.
