Sourcing Specialist (Indirect)

Title: Buyer – Indirect Spend Location: Staffordshire (Hybrid – 3 days in office) Contract: Temporary (6 Months) Working as a site sourcing specialist for this large international corporate, and focused on indirect spend areas. Responsible for: Category/product sourcing strategy – developing and implementing this strategy alongside group procurement objectives. Sourcing and negotiating terms for indirect product and services spend. Tracking and reporting spend and supplier performance. Being point of escalation for internal customer around quality or supply issues. Creating, negotiating and analysing RFQ/RFPs Guiding stakeholders through the procurement process. Qualifications: Ideally MCIPS qualified Experience in indirect/services contract procurement. Strong knowledge of tendering, contracts, and contract negotiation.
