Brief Overview of the Role for Senior Copywriter:

This is a permanent opportunity for an experienced Senior Copywriter to lead and execute content strategies that support brand awareness, engagement, and lead generation. The successful candidate will craft compelling copy across web, email, blogs, and social media, while ensuring alignment with SEO best practices and brand voice.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and execution of the business-wide content strategy
  * Write high-quality, engaging, and SEO-optimised content across all platforms
  * Collaborate across departments to ensure brand consistency and product accuracy
  * Simplify complex topics, particularly in tax and insurance, for diverse audiences
  * Contribute to and help manage the content calendar to ensure timely delivery
  * Support the social media strategy with tailored content
  * Analyse content performance and make data-led improvements
  * Work with the wider team to reinforce the company\’s thought leadership in the sector

Job Requirements for Senior Copywriter:

• Proven experience creating content across multiple formats and channels
  * Strong grasp of SEO principles and experience applying them effectively
  * Ability to communicate complex, financial or regulatory topics clearly
  * Experience using CMS platforms – Sitecore preferred
  * Familiarity with SEO
  * Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills
  * Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

Desirable:
* Degree in English, Journalism, Communications or related field
* Background in financial services or regulated sectors
* Experience with paid media copywriting
