Litigation Solicitor

Service Care Solutions is working alongside a forward-thinking local authority, based in Somerset, which is seeking an experienced Litigation Solicitor to join their team. In this role you will be providing expert legal advice and support to clients in a wide range of complex litigation matters.   Role: Litigation Solicitor Location: Somerset – hybrid Umbrella Rate: £55-£60ph PAYE inc. rate: £48.41 – £52.76ph Contract: 3 months ongoing, 25 hours per week   Key responsibilities of the Litigation Solicitor role: Handle a mixed caseload of litigation legal matters from start to completion. The caseload will include but is not limited to homelessness, housing disrepair, Debt recovery, possession proceedings, anti-social behaviour, Traveller encampments and regulatory prosecutions. Support junior colleagues and legal assistants within the department.Key Requirements: Qualified solicitor with 2+ years of experience in litigation matters. Strong legal knowledge and experience in litigation matters. Ideally someone with experience of a similar role within the public sector.Benefits included with the Litigation Solicitor position: Weekly pay – the rate offered will depend upon experience, interview performance and competency.
