Our Software Client is looking for an Environment and Release Manager who will be an integral part of the IT team, ensuring high-quality project deliveries. My client is embarking on a CRM replacement programme to Microsoft Dynamics 365. The initial focus for this role will be on managing releases for the Dynamics 365 system; however, this role will expand to oversee releases across all business systems.
The successful candidate will play a key role in driving consistency and quality in system deliveries, managing the end-to-end release cycle, and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure successful implementations.
As Environment & Release Manager, you'll be responsible for:
- Developing and maintaining a detailed release plan, outlining key milestones, dependencies, and deliverables.
- Managing the planning for and impact assessment of vendor upgrades of key business systems.
- Overseeing the end-to-end release lifecycle, from development and testing to deployment and post-release support.
- Serving as the primary point of contact for all release-related communications, ensuring transparency and alignment with business and technical stakeholders.
Skills & Experience:
- Relevant Azure certifications.
- A record of managing environments and releases, grounded in proven experience as an Application Environment Engineer or in a similar role, preferably within D365 CRM transformation programmes or large-scale IT projects.
- Strong understanding of managing release management processes, methodologies, and tools involving multiple stakeholders.
