TEXO Recruitment are looking for an experienced SHEQ Advisor to join our external client based in Westhill, Aberdeenshire.

Purpose: To ensure Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality (SHEQ) compliance, promoting best practices and continuous improvement across all operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support and advise on SHEQ matters across the group.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and company policies.
  • Develop and maintain SHEQ policies, procedures, and the Integrated Management System (IMS).
  • Conduct audits, inspections, and incident investigations, reporting findings and recommending actions.
  • Lead SHEQ inductions, toolbox talks, and training sessions.
  • Support ISO accreditations and manage external audit processes.
  • Coordinate SHEQ events, campaigns, and supplier assessments.
  • Liaise with external bodies and represent the company at industry events.

Requirements:

Essential:

  • NEBOSH Gen/Construction Cert, NCRQ, or NVQ Level 3 in OHS
  • IOSH Technician Membership (or working towards)
  • CSCS card
  • UK driving licence
  • SHEQ experience in construction/utilities
  • Strong knowledge of HSE legislation and auditing
  • Excellent communication, IT, and organisational skills

Desirable:

  • ISO accreditation experience
  • SMSTS (CITB)
  • Quality auditing background
