My client is embracing a hybrid multi-cloud (AWS/Azure)/on-premise ecosystem and seeks a Network Engineer for design, implementation, and stewardship of our hosting environments. This role emphasizes observability, high-availability, security, and infrastructure-as-code, involving collaboration with TechOps, DevOps, and InfoSec, and support of existing/acquired assets.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement technical solutions.
  • Support network infrastructure.
  • Manage changes and ensure efficient operation.
  • Collaborate with Engineering and Security.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or equivalent.
  • 2+ years network support.
  • 2+ years Palo Alto experience.
  • Commitment to uptime.
  • Expertise in Layer 2-7 switching, routing, and application delivery.
  • Knowledge of routing, switching, IP networking, DHCP, DNS, LAN/WAN, QoS, VLAN, VXLAN, and BGP.
  • Experience with VPN and Wireless Access Points.
  • Scripting (Bash, PowerShell, Perl, Python).
  • Disaster Recovery.

Preferred:

  • Palo Alto experience.
  • Automation/IaC (Ansible, Terraform).
  • AWS/Azure experience.
  • Relevant certifications.
