EMBS Engineering is currently recruiting for a skilled Production Controller to join a precision engineering company located in Derby, working on a permanent basis.
Due to the nature of the markets our client supplies into, all candidates must be UK residents, and DBS checks will be required. Please note we cannot offer visa sponsorship for overseas candidates.

Your responsibilities include:
- Maintaining order accuracy, planning production and finances, closing work orders, and auditing
- Running Material Resource Planning, communicating production plans, and managing part expedite reports
- Monitoring sales, interpreting demand, and reviewing contracts
- Serving as customer liaison, aiding recovery prep, and prioritising tasks
- Attending production meetings, updating on parts, and identifying improvements
- Ensuring quality compliance, coordinating with clients, and reporting progress
Successful applicants MUST be able to demonstrate:
- Strong background in a similar position - MRP Controller, Production Controller, Production Planner, MRP Planner, Planning Coordinator, etc. demonstrating expertise in production and supply chain management
- Previous experience in engineering within a dynamic manufacturing environment is essential
- Ability to engage in strategic planning, allocate resources efficiently, and communicate effectively with senior stakeholders is crucial
- Proficiency in production planning, forecasting, and a strong command of tools such as MS Excel and MRP Systems is required
- The capacity to work well under pressure, be well organised and manage multiple tasks simultaneously is crucial
