We support our team members to reach their full potential in an inclusive environment that values diversity.\\n\\nThe Role\\n\\nAn exciting opportunity has arisen for a BI Developer to join the Central IT Team and will report to the Systems & Data Manager UK and be part of the newly merged Business Systems and Data Services team, supporting users at over 35 UK manufacturing sites.\\n\\nThe role is bsed in our Liverpool office where the team is centred.\\n\\nWe are looking for an analyst/developer with T-SQL experience to develop our database solutions and help take them to the next level.\\n\\nWorking within the Systems & Data Team, you will liaise closely with internal customers to develop and support solutions in a variety of technologies, including SQL Server (SSRS, SSIS, SSAS). Taking a flexible approach, you will create and manage interfaces between a variety of different systems to automate business processes.\\n\\nLiaising with both technical and non-technical users to understand and solve data requirements, gathering of requirements for new BI and providing regular and up-to-date status reports to stakeholders.  Managing incoming tickets to ensure they are promptly addressed and appropriately assigned. Helping to develop and support the use and improvement of the OTC systems.

By working closely with the team, you will gain additional knowledge of our interfaces & data processes.\\n\\nThis is an interesting and varied role within a fast-paced business and offers a superb opportunity to learn new skills using the full Microsoft BI stack.\\n\\nThe successful candidate will have:\\n\\nEssential criteria:\\n\\nExperience in a database development, application support or BI role, preferably in a fast paced industrial or manufacturing environment\\n\\t\\nT-SQL skills, e.g. experienced writing queries, stored procedures, etc.\\n\\t\\nUnderstanding of relational databases\\n\\nPreferred criteria:\\n\\nExperience with any ERP system\\n\\t\\nDatabase development within SQL Server 2016 or later\\n\\t\\nReport building in SSRS/Power BI or similar\\n\\t\\nExperience with Agile development practices.\\n\\t\\nExperience with Azure\\n\\t\\nPython programming\\n\\t\\nExperienced in the use of BI tools such as PowerBI\\n\\t\\nExperience or knowledge of the Microsoft SQL Server BI Stack\\n\\nPersonal Attributes:\\n\\nAble to communicate clearly with non-technical users\\n\\t\\nStrong customer service focus\\n\\t\\nEnjoys working with other team members\\n\\t\\nExcellent literacy and numeracy\\n\\t\\nOrganised, logical, diligent and thorough\\n\\t\\nKeen to learn new technical skills\\n\\t\\nDevelops strong relationships with our stakeholders\\n\\t\\nExcellent attention to detail\\n\\nThis is an exciting opportunity to become part of the Central IT team.\\n\\nWhat We Offer\\n\\nCompetitive salary & benefits, including annual leave, pension, and a Cycle to Work scheme\\n\\t\\nOngoing training and development opportunities\\n\\t\\n24/7 confidential support for you and your family\\n\\t\\nFlexible working options and family-friendly policies\\n\\t\\nGuaranteed interview for candidates meeting essential criteria (Disability Confident Employer)\\n\\nReady to make an impact?
