Working in an innovative educational setting dedicated to 122 pupils with complex needs associated with Autism Spectrum Disorders for ages 4-16 years.
Working in a multi-disciplinary team made up of Speech and Language Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and Art Therapists aligning them closely with the school’s objectives, ethos, and teaching practices.
Your main responsibilities as a Speech and Language Therapist:
- Be a key player in pupil referrals and therapy service optimization.
- Champion continuous professional development, ensuring a high standard of service delivery.
- Advise families and members of the teaching team in relation to pupils’ speech, language and communication development to achieve the best possible outcomes for children and young people.
- Provide both 1:1 and group therapy for individuals and groups of pupils.
