Are you a seasoned Project Manager with strong experience in implementing Project Management best practice processes? Do you have experience in delivering and managing manufacturing facilities projects including footprint layouts and new facilities builds?
About Us: We are Teledyne Energetics UK, part of the wider Teledyne UK group, who have been designing and developing solutions for the safety, arming, and initiation technology sector since 1984. We are a small, friendly team based in Lincoln who have big plans for future growth and expanding our business. We value a positive attitude and eagerness to learn from our employees, alongside skills and experience, and are interested in hearing from people who want to have a real career, instead of ‘just another job’.
What we’re looking for: We have a great opportunity for an experienced project manager to join our Teledyne Energetics business in Lincoln at a time of growth in product programmes and facilities expansions. We’re looking for a project manager to manage the facilities projects to new build and internal footprint fitouts on the existing manufacturing layouts. This is a planned programme of works over 3-5 years, with future customers/product project management roles on completion of the facilities programmes. The role will be a combination of Programme Management and Facilities, with a potential 75/25 split depending on your experience.
What you’ll be involved in: As the Facilities Project Manager you will act as a relationship manager between the various disciplines within the organisation, the customer, suppliers and other stakeholders. You will require strong leadership to bring together key milestones across the main facilities projects which will include a new build facility on site along with an existing facility footprint fit out and equipment installation.
What we’re looking for in you: Ideally you should have a background in facilities/construction type projects within manufacturing organisations, including leading the planning and delivery from inception to final handover. Experience of managing and liaising with 3rd party suppliers, driving programme of works timelines to agreed scope of works. Experience of managing existing manufacturing footprint fitouts and driving equipment delivery would be of great interest. Qualifications in project management methodology, ideally APMP and the application of LCM/EVM processes would be of distinct advantage. This role could also be of interest to ex-military personnel who have project management exposure to setting up facilities etc. Due to the nature of the site and programmes, you must be eligible to gain DV level security clearance whilst in the role.
