Key Responsibilities
- Solution Development
- Translate complex business requirements and problem statements into scalable robust technical solutions using Control M.
- Design, develop and optimise workflows to improve efficiency ensuring that technical implementations align with business objectives.
- Feature Evaluation Adoption
- Test and evaluate new Control M features and functionalities.
- Incorporate these features into value added use cases and drive their adoption across the organisation to enhance operational performance.
- Integration Plug In Management
- Install, configure and integrate various Control M Plug Ins (e.g. Databases, Application Integrator, Managed File Transfer) into solution designs.
- Assess the business value of Control M integrations and seamlessly embed them into workflow solutions.
- Collaboration Mentoring
- Work closely with cross functional teams to ensure alignment between business requirements and technical execution.
- Proactively mentor and upskill less experienced colleagues through gap analysis, knowledge sharing and the development of tailored training plans.
- Documentation Troubleshooting
- Create detailed technical documentation and workflow diagrams to support solution design and facilitate knowledge transfer.
- Utilise strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills to diagnose and resolve production issues related to Control M workflows.
Qualifications
- Proven ability to translate complex business requirements into robust technical solutions.
- Strong analytical skills with a demonstrated ability to assess, design and optimise workflows.
- Extensive experience with Control M including installation, configuration and leveraging Plug Ins for enhanced solution design.
- Track record of assessing and integrating Control M functionalities into business-critical workflows.
- Experience developing automation solutions using tools such as the Ansible Automation Platform or other orchestration frameworks.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills enabling effective cross functional teamwork.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies, DevOps practices and ITIL processes to support continuous improvement.
- BMC Certified Associate in Control M 21.x for Automation API Developers or BMC Certified Professional in Control M 21.x for Schedulers.
- Familiarity with Helix Control M and experience deploying Control M in public cloud environments.
