Are you an experienced Embedded Software Engineer looking to take the lead on exciting new product development? Verso is exclusively retained by a long-established and innovative electronics business in Southampton, Hampshire. With a track record of delivering bespoke embedded solutions across multiple sectors, this is an opportunity to work on technically diverse and engaging projects from concept through to manufacture.

Key Responsibilities:- Drive embedded software development for a new product line currently in design
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions
- Design, develop, and debug embedded software for real-time applications
- Proven experience in full lifecycle embedded software development
- Strong proficiency in Embedded C/C++
- Experience with bare metal programming
- Knowledge of RTOS (Real-Time Operating Systems)
- Familiarity with communication protocols (e.g. UART, SPI, I2C, CAN) is advantageous
- Confident using electrical debugging and testing tools
- Competitive salary up to £65,000 + full benefits package
