About the role
The Monocle Café is an intimate and bustling space located on Marylebone’s Chiltern Street. Offering artisanal coffee and tasty treats, alongside a selection of our famed magazines and retail offerings, it’s a welcoming space, showcasing our passion for hospitality. We are seeking passionate and experienced hospitality professionals to join our team, with proven experience working as part of a busy team, to provide excellent service and a welcoming environment.
The successful candidates will be responsible for:
- Developing a thorough understanding of our menu items and products, preparing a range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and coffees
- Providing exceptional customer service and effectively handling any customer feedback
- Ensuring that cleanliness and hygiene standards are met, as well as correct maintenance of café equipment
- Accurately processing customer orders and payments
- Supporting with planning and delivering café events
Our café is open from 07.00 to 20.00, Monday to Saturday and 07.00 to 19.00 on Sunday. We offer a range of great benefits, including:
