Hours - 40 HOURS PER WEEK - WILL INCLUDE WEEKENDS WHEN REQUIRED AS IT IS A 24 HOUR OPERATION. FLEXIBILITY ON SHIFT TIMES IS REQUIRED.

Day to Day Duties

We’re looking for an experienced and proactive Transport Manager to oversee logistics and delivery operations within a busy, 24-hour wholesale environment. You’ll be responsible for ensuring smooth and efficient transport scheduling, fleet management, and compliance with all transport regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily transport operations across a 24/7 schedule
  • Lead and support a team of drivers and logistics staff
  • Oversee vehicle maintenance, compliance, and route planning
  • Monitor performance and ensure timely, cost-effective deliveries
  • Liaise with warehouse, sales, and customer service teams

Essential skills:

  • Proven experience in transport or logistics management
  • Excellent leadership, organisation, and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of transport legislation and compliance
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, round-the-clock operation

Desirable Experience:

  • CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) qualification
  • Strong knowledge of fleet management systems and route planning software
  • Experience managing multi-drop deliveries or time-critical logistics
