M4 Specialists are looking for a full time Multi Drop Delivery Driver to work on behalf of one of our well-known clients. Our client has an extensive delivery network which covers the UK and over 220 countries. You will be delivering 40 - 70 shipments daily, full training and support will be provided. The client is committed to pushing the boundaries of express parcel delivery markets and aims to be the first choice for customers. You will work closely with the operational team, who will support you to execute a busy multi drop schedule. The customers rely on them to deliver their promises, and they rely on you to ensure each delivery reaches the customers on time, in perfect condition with a contagious smile.
Shifts of a Multi Drop Delivery Driver:
- The role will be working shifts according to business needs, so flexibility will be needed.
- Start time between 8am and 10am depending on route allocation.
- Varying finish times between 5.30pm and 7.30pm.
- Initial hours/shifts will be on an as and when required basis.
What will you do as a Multi Drop Delivery Driver?
- Be an ambassador of our client; positively representing the brand, maintaining a clean vehicle and being a courteous driver.
- Safely loading and unloading parcels onto a van.
- Delivery of products, goods and parcels safely and efficiently to designated locations within set timeframes.
- Ensuring proper handling and delivery of sensitive materials with authorisation if necessary and deliver high standards of customer care.
- Properly use and maintain delivery equipment, including a handheld scanner, to deliver up to 70 shipments per day.
What you need for the role of Multi Drop Delivery Driver:
- A full UK driving licence, with no more than 6 points and not have been disqualified in the last 5 years.
- Multi-drop experience (preferable).
- An enthusiasm and passion to always deliver the best service.
- Excellent customer service skills, with an ability to work to tight deadlines and under pressure.
- Work collaboratively as part of a team.
- An in-date Disclosure Barring Service certificate (DBS).
- An up-to-date CV with at least 5 years work history.
- Be over the age of 21 for insurance purposes.
Location: Stockton on Tees (TS17 postcode)
Salary: £14.25 per hour / Overtime will be paid at £21.38 per hour after 40 hours.
