Project: Major Commercial Building Project

My client is a leading Tier 1 Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) Contractor, known for delivering large-scale, high-profile construction projects across the UK.

This project is one of the most significant commercial building ventures in London, and as such they are seeking an excellent Mechanical Construction Manager to join its dynamic team.

MEP install is not due to start properly until mid 2027, the project is in its infancy and this provides long-term security with a company that has an extensive pipeline of work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the day-to-day mechanical construction activities, ensuring all work is performed safely and in compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
• Lead and mentor a team of mechanical engineers, site supervisors, and subcontractors, providing guidance and ensuring high performance.
• Coordinate with other project stakeholders, including electrical teams, architects, consultants, and clients, to ensure seamless integration of mechanical systems.
• Monitor project progress, identifying potential risks and implementing mitigation strategies.
• Review and approve mechanical design and installation plans, ensuring they meet the project’s requirements and specifications.
• Oversee the procurement of mechanical equipment and materials, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project budgets.
• Ensure all mechanical work is completed to the highest quality standards, conducting regular inspections and audits.
• Prepare and present regular progress reports to senior management and clients, highlighting key milestones and addressing any issues.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence on-site.
