Debt Advisory Group – Who are we?

The Debt Advisory business advises listed and privately owned businesses throughout all stages of their finance-raising journey. We are independent of lenders, products and markets, meaning we provide objective advice on the optimum funding solutions for our clients.

What do we do?

Companies raise debt finance for a broad range of reasons, such as financing an acquisition, funding growth and expansion initiatives, support liquidity during a difficult economic climate and refinancing existing debt. We support companies through this process, making sure the structure of their financing arrangements aligns to their strategic ambitions.

Our processes typically start with a financing options appraisal before supporting companies through the entire fund-raising process from initial engagement with the debt markets through to negotiation and documentation of the agreement.

Interpath's Debt Advisory team is expanding rapidly. We already have a market leading debt advisory offering, but we are determined to continue this momentum by attracting great people to join the team so we can continue to expand and create opportunities for those within the team.

Our experience and expertise spans a broad range of products (ABL, bank debt, securitisations, private placement, unitranche, subordinated debt and bonds). We are proactively venturing into new markets and now have footholds in various geographies, including the UK, Ireland, France, Germany and Spain.

Graduates will have the opportunity to learn from market leading debt advisors, but also learn about new products and work on deals in different countries.

Furthermore, one of the team's strengths is our sector expertise. Under our four pillars, we support both public and private companies with their financing needs and provide objective advice on the optimum funding solutions, using not only our debt specific knowledge but also our industry expertise.

Graduates will rotate around these four pillars, so that you can also begin to understand where you may wish to focus in the future by building your network with clients and lenders alike. These four pillars are Corporates, Leveraged Finance, Real Estate and Financial Services.

Key accountabilities:

• Support in transaction execution and project management.
• Contribute to transaction planning meetings and structuring discussions.
• Produce high quality transaction marketing materials.
• Work on financial models and financial analyses.
• Act as a contact for clients, lenders and other third parties.
• Assist with new business development by supporting on targeting and pitches.
• Enhance Interpath's reputation through contributing towards consistent high-quality project delivery.

Requirements

• Have a minimum 2:1 University degree.
