About the Job
Private Client – Senior Associate – Up to £80,000 salary
This is a superb opportunity to join an award-winning, modern, dynamic, and supportive law firm offering specialist quality legal advice to commercial clients and private individuals.
The firm’s leading private client team acts for executors and trustees on both contentious and non-contentious matters and is recognised across the A12 Corridor for its outstanding client care and high-quality work.
Due to the development and expansion of the firm, it is now seeking to appoint a Senior Private Client Solicitor to work alongside existing partners, driving a resilient and varied legal practice as well as supervising junior lawyers in the team of fifteen Solicitors.
The Private Client team brings in over half of the departments fees, therefore the ideal candidate must have a strong understanding and must have gained experience working on probate matters, LPA and tax. The successful candidate will be expected to work with limited supervision but with the benefit of full administrative support.
The Candidate
- Private Client Solicitor with at least 8 years post qualification experience or equivalent
- Attend marketing/networking events for the firm to bring in work
- Representing the firm through external/internal presentations
- Giving talks at local care homes and charity groups
- Ability to work to deadlines/targets, to prioritise and manage a varied caseload
- Ability to work well as part of a team and on your own initiative
- Strong legal and leadership skills with an eye for detail
