Events and Exhibition Manager
Carbon60 are looking for an experienced Events and Exhibition Manager for a global industry leading aerospace and defence client based in Stevenage.
About the Role
The Events and Exhibitions Manager will have a central role in supporting the business and the Top Management and will be responsible for the management of events, exhibitions and VIP visits in the UK. This position is a 6-month hybrid working contract with potential for extension.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver on time and on quality Protocol and Events activities in the UK mainly for the company's Defence and Space sector, but all of the company as required
- Support the organization and management of UK based exhibitions
- Support and arrange VIP, media and industry visits
- Organize follow-up sessions for lessons learnt and recommendations for the next editions
Required Skills
- Experience in Events and Project Management
- Ability to pre plan and manage large scale and high-profile events.
- Ability to work with people from all levels, from local contractors to VIPs (external and internal)
- Ability to work on several projects simultaneously
- Ability to manage a budget and a good knowledge of procurement processes
Desirable
- Good knowledge of aerospace/aviation/defence industry
Pay range and compensation package
£26.45 per hour PAYE
£35 per hour Umbrella
