Cyclist (E-Cargo Bike – Night Shifts) Location: 50 Pearson Street Earnings: £32,500 to £32,500 We have an amazing opportunity for Cyclists for night shifts in our newly opened operation depot in Hoxton, London. Who we are First Mile are London’s leading recycling service, helping collect refuse from over 30,000 locations across the city. We need amazing and efficient cyclists with a great attitude and customer service to collect from our clients. What you will do If you are an experienced rider or driver and have a passion for delivering excellent customer service to our clients, you should look no further. Whilst working as a cyclist, you will be collecting refuse bags from our clients using our new award-winning zero emissions electric cargo bikes. Your day will start from or our newly opened depot in Hoxton where you will pick up your vehicle. You will then be given a round of collections and, using our new App, choose the most efficient routes. At the end of your shift, you will return to the depot and finish for the night. The shift pattern for this role is: – 5 days working, 2 days off on a continuing rota. Night shifts start between 3pm and 5pm depending on route with each shift lasting 9 hours. Requirements – A passion for delivering excellent customer service – Experience in a similar role – Experience of driving or riding in a city, preferably London – Right to work in the UK – Proficient level of English Benefits – 28 days’ annual leave (this includes bank holiday allowance) – Quarterly bonuses – Cyclist of the Quarter prizes (best cyclists get the best rewards) – A £40 a month allowance to spend on you.
