RM Recruit are excited to be working in partnership with a not-for-profit organisation based in Coventry who are seeking a Finance Assistant to support the Finance Manager on a 12-month fixed-term contract on a term-time only basis. This role is based onsite Monday – Friday with the hours set at (8am – 4pm).\\nKey Responsibilities\\n * Process invoices and purchase orders\\n * Prepare BACS runs\\n * Assist with bank reconciliations and financial reporting\\n * Raise & place purchase orders\\n * Credit card reconciliation\\n * Manage supplier queries\\n * Maintain accurate financial records and ledgers\\n * Assist with month-end and year-end procedures\\n * Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders\\n * Provide administrative support to the finance function as required\\nPerson Specification\\n * AAT Qualified or qualified by experience\\n * Previous experience in a finance or accounts assistant role\\n * Understanding of basic accounting principles and financial procedures\\n * Excellent attention to detail and accuracy\\n * Strong IT skills, especially in Microsoft Excel\\n * Well-organised and able to manage multiple priorities\\n * Strong communication and interpersonal skills\\n * A proactive and flexible approach to work\\n * Familiarity with accounting software (e.g. Access, Sage & Xero)\\nBenefits\\n * A supportive, inclusive, and purpose-driven work environment\\n * Generous pension scheme\\n * Parking onsite\\n * Opportunities for personal and professional development\\n * The chance to be part of a team making a real impact\\nThe successful candidate will be required to undertake an Enhanced DBS upon appointment.
