Site Engineer / Manager, Argyll, Scotland Turner Lovell is partnering with a specialist civil engineering contractor to source a Site Engineer or Site Manager to oversee an important project in Argyll, Scotland. This is a growing business which is very successful within their niche providing their services to Renewable Energy projects across the UK. This role will be accountable across several key areas: Managing sites and contractors in line with client contracts; managing successful day to day relationships with clients to ensure a good working environment, clear communication, and offering expertise when advising on site. Successful delivery of client contracts ensuring cost efficiency, through the effective management of labour, plant and materials and on time delivery of reports / projects Ensuring on site adherence to H&S standards, ensuring toolbox talks are delivered and all H&S paperwork is completed weekly; taking a lead role in supporting the H&S calendar of events ensuring near misses and good catches are reported weekly, audits are carried out on site monthly and monthly H&S focus is driven at all times when on site. Ensuring setting out and levels are carried out accurately when required; and accurate records are kept for day to day tasks and works completed.
