Our client is seeking an EV Installer to join their team permanently, making a fantastic impact on the business and developing further. The EV Installer will be installing electric vehicle charge points around the required area. The EV Installer must have previous commercial experience and a JIB Gold Card to be eligible for this position.

Key Responsibilities for the EV Installer:

• Install electric vehicle charging stations

• Participate in training sessions and team meetings to stay informed and share best practice

• Work closely with project managers, electricians, and other team members

• Maintain accurate records of installations, maintenance, repairs

• Follow work instructions, electrical designs, cable calculations and installation guides, to carry out the proper installation of EV chargers

• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure safe working conditions

• Liaise with the supervisor and provide updates

Skills Required for the EV Installer:

• NVQ Level 3 Electrotechnical qualification or approved apprenticeship

• 1-3 years of Commercial/Industrial experience

• Full UK Driving License

• JIB/CSCS Gold Card

• City & Guilds 2919 Electric Vehicle Charging (or equivalent)

• City & Guilds BS7671: 18th Edition Wiring Regulations

• City & Guilds 2391 Inspection & Testing (or equivalent) (Desirable)

• Experience with DC Chargers (Desirable)

• SSSTS (Desirable)
