Overview As a Senior Care Assistant at a Barchester care home, you will look after the different needs of our residents to deliver quality, person-centred care and support. Your role will involve supervising and inspiring a team of dedicated Care Assistants alongside the Deputy General Manager. You will also support the clinical team in areas such as medication, assessments, care plans or care reviews. You will always respect the dignity and preferences of our residents and contribute to creating an environment that is warm, welcoming and vibrant.
About You You should have an NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care to join us as a Senior Care Assistant. You will need specific knowledge of clinical care for the elderly. We are looking for warm-hearted, compassionate individuals who are committed to giving each resident individualised care and support. You\’ll have the opportunity to develop your career through ongoing training opportunities, with potential to progress to roles such as Care Practitioner, Regional Carer or nursing roles.
