Responsible Individual - Registered Children\'s Homes

The organisation specialises in providing best-in-class residential care for children and young people who have complex needs. They endeavour to create a safe environment that is homely and nurturing, enabling positive relationships to be formed and for children and young people in their care to make progress in all areas of their development.

They are currently looking to recruit a responsible individual to join their team based in London.

JOB PURPOSE

Provide expertise and strong management to drive performance and to commission and/or deliver the Companies priorities and meet service targets.

To register with Ofsted as the Responsible Individual for the Registered Children’s Homes and directly manage the Registered Managers to comply with the Ofsted regulations.

To be accountable for and lead on the internal quality assurance across the Children’s Homes is robust to deliver excellent care for children and young people, which improves outcomes, life chances and safeguards children and young people effectively.

To oversee the Ofsted inspections in the Children’s Homes and develop the service these provide.

Ensure the effective understanding and operation of any specific statutory or regulatory as part of the Ofsted registration.

Person specification

– Must hold Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management.

– Must have a strong background of successful residential children’s home management is operation, preferably with strong knowledge of Ofsted requirements.

– Driving Licence is required
