We are currently expanding our tree surgery teams and are seeking motivated and experienced Arborists / Team Leaders to join our offices in either Windsor or Letchworth. Working for a successful and expanding rural and environmental contracting company, no day is the same!
Key Responsibilities:
- Performing aerial tree surgery operations
- Providing aerial rescue support for the team
- Using and maintaining modern equipment to carry out arboriculture duties
- Liaising with clients on site
- Working on new and existing contracts
- Following Health & Safety procedures
- Maintaining personal climbing equipment and inspection records
- Conducting vehicle inspections and other weekly checks
What we need from you:
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Experience in arboriculture
- Reliability and punctuality
- Professionalism and safety consciousness
- Respectfulness and accountability
- Effective communication and ability to follow instructions
Preferred Qualifications:
- City & Guilds NPTC Level 2 - Chainsaw maintenance and crosscutting
- City & Guilds NPTC Level 2 - Felling small trees up to 380mm
- City & Guilds NPTC Level 2 - Tree climbing and aerial rescue
- City & Guilds NPTC Level 2 - Using a chainsaw from a rope and harness
- Full UK driving licence
