A new charity based in central Woking is seeking a proactive and driven Manager / Head of Operations to lead their start-up venture which is dedicated to supporting Neurodiverse individuals. They provide personalised care and tailored plan signposting that ensure individuals have equal access to life experiences and opportunities, regardless of learning, emotional, or behavioural challenges.

About the charity: The charity is committed to improving the quality of life for Neurodiverse service users by:

  • Developing detailed profiles and personalised support plans.
  • Sourcing qualified professionals to meet individual needs.
  • Ensuring support plans are fully funded and within budget.
  • Monitoring and reporting on service delivery performance.
  • Continuously assessing and adjusting care plans.
  • Creating an inclusive online community for Neurodiverse individuals.
  • Establishing pathways to work experience and meaningful opportunities.
  • Planning for a future digital assistant to support daily life.
  • Organising social events and additional services for their users.

Established in 2025 by a successful entrepreneur, the charity will benefit from additional support from the owner's other businesses, particularly with technology and finance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Be the first feet on the ground, reporting into the founder.
  • Oversee all day-to-day operations.
  • Identify specialist service providers and resources for signposting.
  • Recruit and collaborate with the Care and Support Manager (CSM).
  • Develop flexible service user templates in collaboration with the CSM.
  • Focus on fundraising and income generation, engaging private sector organisations with ESG commitments.
  • Build relationships with third-sector organisations for collaboration.
  • Promote the charity to potential volunteers and organise social events.

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Extensive experience in the charity sector.
  • Experience supporting Neurodiverse individuals.
  • A passion for making a meaningful impact.
  • Highly organised, self-motivated, and proactive.
  • Strong operational, fundraising and ideally volunteer recruitment experience.
  • Tech-savvy, with social media and financial management skills being a bonus.

The role will ultimately be based in Woking, although the owner is open to hybrid working, alongside being flexible with hours. The role is for 3 days a week minimum, however full-time candidates will also be considered. Circa £50-60k FTE salary.
