About the job:
We are seeking a full-time detail-oriented and experienced Warehouse Lead to oversee our warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will manage a team across Customer-specific delivery requirements, goods-inwards inspections & QC, through to order fulfilment. Efficient & on time in full order fulfilment is a pivotal part of the role, whilst maintaining quality & high standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficient and effective workflow.
- Co-ordinate order fulfilment processes, ensuring timely order management through to delivery.
- Ensure all orders are processed in line with any Company values & Customer specific requirements where needed.
- Lead, train, and motivate a team of warehouse staff to achieve performance goals.
- Collaborate with wider business departments, including logistics and customer service, to streamline operations.
- Analyse performance metrics and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Implement and maintain warehouse safety protocols and procedures.
- Oversee maintenance of warehouse equipment and facilities.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in warehouse supervision/management of a team, preferably in a wholesale business setting.
- Diligent and conscientious.
- Highly organised, efficient and able to multi-task.
- Strong understanding of systems and software.
- Knowledge of dealing with Customer specific order requirements, reprocessing, special order/delivery requirements.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, ability to think outside the box.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in warehouse operations.
