Summary :

Energean is seeking to employ an Offshore Crane Operator to be responsible for safely and efficiently operating cranes to support the FPSO operations. The role will involve lifting, moving, and positioning heavy equipment and materials as required.

Key Accountabilities :

• Safely operate and control the cranes for lifting and transferring equipment, materials and supplies on the FPSO.
• Assess load weights and ensure safe lifting in accordance with load charts and operational guidelines.
• Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and basic troubleshooting of the crane and associated equipment to ensure operational readiness.

• Follow safety protocols, industry standards (e.g., LOLER, API, and NORSOK guidelines), local regulations, and company policies to maintain a safe work environment.
• Communicate effectively with the rigging team, deck crew, and supervisors to coordinate lifts and other crane activities.
• Maintain accurate logs of crane operations, inspections, maintenance activities, and incidents.

• Actively participate in emergency drills and respond to any operational emergencies related to crane operations.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to enhancing operational efficiency and safety practices.

Qualifications and Experience :

• Valid Israeli type A certification as a Crane Operator.
• Knowledge of crane operations, rigging, and lifting techniques.

• Familiarity with industry safety standards and regulations.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and follow instructions accurately.
• Proven experience as a Crane Operator (2 years) in the industry or a related field.

• Demonstrated track record of safely and effectively operating cranes in various operational settings.
• Experience in conducting pre-operational inspections and routine maintenance on cranes.
