Our Specialist Aerospace fabrication and welding client in Manchester is recruiting for Airframe Fitters and Sheet Metal Workers to join their growing business on a permanent basis. The client are willing to consider candidates from similar backgrounds with transferable skills. Airframe fitter: • Aerospace airframe / structural assembly experience • Ability to read / understand drawings and aerospace specifications • Key processes: drilling, countersinking, riveting, use of sealants, fitting helicoils, bearing, bushes etc Sheet-metal worker • Aerospace sheet metal experience • Ability to read / understand drawings • Key processes: rubber press, hand form, profiling parts Contracted 36 hours per week Mon-Thurs. Overtime Friday and Saturday. Time and ½ for 10 hours post basic, anything above is at double
