An exciting opportunity has arisen at Somerset County Cricket Club to join our Pathway Cricket department. We are looking to recruit a Boys Academy and Regional Performance Coach. You will play a crucial part in delivering SCCCs Emerging Players Programme (EPP) and Academy with a focus on developing highpotential male cricketers. Youll contribute heavily to the University of Exeter Mens cricket programme where you will provide highquality coaching to topperforming players. You will be instrumental in identifying inspiring and nurturing talent from Somerset County Age Groups (CAG) and across the wider region. Amongst other essential criteria youll have an ECB Level 2 Coaching qualification and proven experience coaching within a talent pathway environment especially with adolescent male players. You will also have a strong ability to facilitate high quality practices for aspiring cricketers and an awareness of best practices within player identification and development. To thrive in this role youll be approachable reflective and empathetic with the ability to positively influence a variety of stakeholders. You will have excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to working. Youll maintain high professional standards and have a drive for excellence in everything you do. Given the nature of the role any appointment is subject to a satisfactory enhanced DBS check. If no ECB DBS is already in place this check will be carried out by the Club.
