Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate the weighbridge to weigh vehicles accurately as they enter and exit the site.
  • Record weights in a computerised system, ensuring data accuracy and compliance with site policies.
  • Verify load details with drivers, checking for correct documentation and reporting discrepancies.
  • Input data into systems, including vehicle information, materials weighed, and customer details.
  • Maintain accurate records for reporting, audit, and billing purposes.
  • Communicate effectively with drivers regarding site procedures, safety regulations, and load requirements.
  • Address any queries or issues from drivers or customers in a professional manner.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Report any safety concerns, equipment malfunctions, or non-compliance incidents to management.
  • Monitor site traffic to ensure safe and orderly flow of vehicles.

About You:

  • Previous experience is preferred, but not essential as full training will be provided.
  • You must have a good eye for detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
