What You’ll Be Doing

• Submitting import declarations across various Customs Procedure Codes (CPCs) using ASM Sequoia
• Filing Safety & Security declarations directly with HMRC
• Collaborating with HMRC to resolve holds, queries, or compliance issues
• Conducting post-entry checks, reclaims, and processing amendments
• Supporting monthly P&L reporting
• Contributing to key customs projects alongside the Customs Manager
• Upholding high standards of compliance and health & safety

What You’ll Need

Must-Haves:

• Solid hands-on experience in customs brokerage (CDS/CHIEF)
• Familiarity with ASM Sequoia or similar customs software
• Great understanding of HMRC Tariff classifications and import regulations
• Experience with port community systems like CNS and Destin8
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Strong IT skills (Word, Excel, and confident across platforms)
• An eye for detail so sharp it could spot a typo from 10 miles away

Bonus Points For:

• A full UK driving licence (our site is best accessed by car)
• Experience with CFSP/Simplified Declarations (not essential, but great to have!)
