ROLE: Manufacturing Technician
HOURS: Monday - Friday 07:30 - 16:30
SALARY: GBP12.21 - GBP12.71 per hour plus benefits

We are delighted to be recruiting a Manufacturing Technician to join our team in the production and assembly of roller garage doors.
WHAT OUR MANUFACTURING TECHNICIANS DO:
- Accurately measure materials
- Utilise circular saws and other cutting tools to cut materials to specified dimensions
- Follow build sheets and use hand-held drills, rivet guns, circular saws and measuring tools
- Conduct thorough inspections to ensure all products meet quality standards
- Address any discrepancies promptly
- Assemble components using drills, staple guns and hand-held tools
- Perform basic electrical wiring tasks, ensuring proper connections and safety
- Verify that all products meet the highest quality standards
WHAT WE NEED FROM OUR MANUFACTURING TECHNICIANS:
- Ability to read and comprehend basic build sheets and technical drawings
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and assembly techniques
- Proficient in the use of hand-held drills, rivet guns, circular saws, staple guns, and other hand-held tools
- Keen eye for detail for quality standards
- Ability to identify and rectify minor defects
- Basic understanding of electrical wiring principles, and ability to perform simple wiring tasks safely
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment could be a distinct advantage
- Strong analytical skills to identify root causes of production challenges
