About The Role: As a Traffic Management Operative or Trainee, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and efficiency of traffic flow throughout the South West. This dynamic position offers you the chance to work on diverse projects, making a tangible impact on the community and environment. Requirements:
- TTMBC as a minimum; further qualifications can be achieved with in-house training to grow & support you in your career progression (subject to signing a training agreement)
- 12D M1 & M2, 12AB and C (IPV) desirable (all advantageous but can be trained)
- Full UK Driving Licence & able to pass a Drug & Alcohol test.
Responsibilities:
- Installing and removing temporary traffic management systems.
- Loading and maintaining equipment such as temporary traffic signals and road closures.
- Conducting site maintenance to ensure smooth traffic flow.
- Liaising with clients and sub-contractors to coordinate traffic management efforts.
- Reporting any incidents or near misses to maintain safety standards.
- Conducting daily vehicle checks to ensure safety and cleanliness.
