Amazon's Tax Engine organization is building the next generation of solutions to shape the way we calculate, collect, and invoice tax information, as one of the world's largest collectors of online indirect taxes and fees. The mission of the Tax Engine organization is to ensure that Amazon has the right technology and processes to remain accurate and adaptable in a rapidly changing business and tax environment.
We're looking for a Sr Product Manager - Technical to join us in London and help build the future of the Tax Engine's document printing product, responsible for generating billions of business-critical documents (e.g., tax invoices, commercial and transport documents) annually. As a Sr Product Manager, you will identify and execute opportunities to develop high-impact solutions and features for our document printing product, meeting customer needs and driving business growth.

This role has high visibility, requiring clear and compelling communication across all company levels. You will measure business impact by analyzing metrics, linking inputs to outcomes, and working backwards from customer needs. Key job responsibilities- Lead the development and implementation of high-quality feature roadmaps aligned with product strategy and vision.
- Understand and communicate the impact of product features on the strategic value, usability, and performance of the document printing product.
- Manage prioritization and trade-offs among customer experience, scope, and time to market.
- Collaborate daily with cross-functional teams including engineers, designers, and business partners to plan and develop the product.
- Create detailed, clear user stories with acceptance criteria based on customer needs and business requirements.
- Define and analyze metrics to measure and benchmark product success.
- Identify trends and challenges in the tax technology domain influencing future strategy and vision.
Your day will include meetings and strategic planning, working with customers and peers across product, engineering, UX, tax, and legal teams. You will develop functional requirements for new features and products, owning your feature roadmap from requirements gathering to implementation. Collaboration across teams is key to drive product delivery and support scalable technology design outcomes that meet Amazon's business and compliance needs. Your work will directly impact the future product portfolio of the Tax Engine organization.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS- Bachelor's degree
- Experience owning or driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience contributing to engineering discussions on technology decisions related to a product
- Experience in technical product management, program management, or engineering
- Experience owning feature delivery and managing trade-offs
- Experience with end-to-end product delivery
- Experience performing statistical data analysis using SQL, Excel, and other tools
- Experience building and analyzing cost/benefit scenarios and business cases, and communicating results organization-wide
