Respond to incidents within the Project Facilities within contractual timescales Install and maintain physical emergency traffic management 1.       Job Purpose Reporting to the Incident Response lead, the Incident Response Team (IRT) will ensure the efficient operation of the Project Facilities by responding to incidents, supporting Emergency Services, and facilitating prompt clearance of incidents.  Managing and supporting directly employed and sub-contracted “on-scene” support services (recovery vehicles, ITS/MEP and general maintenance operatives) as required. As the public face of the company, the IRT will act as single point of contact and communication link between the Emergency Services and Tunnel Control Centre (TCC). Tasks/Responsibilities as follows: Respond to incidents within the Project Facilities within contractual timescales. Install and maintain physical emergency traffic management in accordance with legislative requirements and as outlined within the safe system of work (SSOW). Mange “deployed to scene” resources to support the prompt clearance of incidents. Represent the company as “Bronze on scene” providing a single point of contact for Emergency Services and a direct link to the Tunnel Control Centre. Provide continual updates to the TCC.
