Inuka is working with a leading emerging markets energy fund that invests in renewable energy and sustainable infrastructure projects across Africa, Asia, and other key markets. They are seeking an Investor Relations Manager to strengthen relationships with existing investors and support fundraising for future funds and co-investments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day relationships with existing investors, ensuring regular updates and clear communication.
- Coordinate and prepare investor reporting, including quarterly reports, performance updates, and investor presentations.
- Support fundraising initiatives for new funds and co-investments, including preparation of marketing materials, due diligence materials, and data room management.
- Organise and participate in investor meetings and AGMs.
- Act as the point of contact for investor queries, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
- Collaborate with investment, finance, and legal teams to provide investors with updates on portfolio performance, exits, and pipeline opportunities.
- Track and maintain investor CRM databases, monitoring investor engagement and preferences.
- Prepare and coordinate responses to investor due diligence requests and RFPs.
- Monitor market trends, peer activity, and investor sentiment to inform engagement strategies.
Qualifications:
- Degree in finance, business, economics, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in investor relations, fundraising, private equity, or infrastructure funds.
- Strong understanding of private markets and emerging markets investments.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship management skills.
- Proven experience preparing investor reports, presentations, and marketing materials.
- Ability to coordinate across multiple teams and manage complex investor requests.
- Familiarity with ESG frameworks and reporting standards is advantageous.
- Willingness to travel internationally as required.
