We are seeking a skilled and experienced Dryliner to join our dynamic team. As a Dryliner, you will be responsible for the installation of drywall systems, including the preparation of surfaces, fitting plasterboard, and ensuring high-quality finishes on walls and ceilings. You will work on both commercial and residential projects, contributing to our reputation for excellence in construction., Install Drywall Systems: Measure, cut, and install plasterboard for walls and ceilings in line with project specifications.
Prepare Surfaces: Ensure all surfaces are prepared and smooth before installation, including framing, furring, and applying adhesives as needed.
Plasterboard Fitting: Accurately cut and fit plasterboard to a variety of surfaces, ensuring alignment and secure attachment.
Finishing: Tape joints, fill gaps, and apply finishing compounds to achieve a smooth, ready-to-decorate surface.
Quality Assurance: Inspect completed work for accuracy and quality, ensuring all installations meet company standards and client expectations.
Safety Compliance: Follow all health and safety guidelines, maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a Dryliner in a construction setting.
Skills: Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
Knowledge: Familiarity with a variety of drywall systems and related materials.
Tools: Ability to safely operate standard drylining tools and equipment.
Certifications: CSCS card is required. NVQ Level 2 in Drylining or equivalent is preferred.
Physical Fitness: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
£22 – £25 an hour – Full-time
